About the Experience
What can I expect from the event?
Prison Island Montréal is an intense, action-packed gaming experience featuring a massive play area with 30+ cells, each offering unique challenges. Unlike traditional escape rooms, this experience offers much more freedom and variety. With a welcoming reception area, a bar, and plenty of seating, it's the perfect spot for an exciting and immersive adventure.
While standard escape rooms lock you into a single scenario for an hour, Prison Island Montréal lets you explore at your own pace. You choose which challenges to tackle, retry them as many times as you like, and strategize to beat physical, technical, and mental puzzles.
What is the goal?
As a team, try to "break into" and complete as many cells as possible. If you fail a cell, you can retry it immediately or move on to a new one. Some cells might take a few tries to earn the maximum score. Just keep an eye on the clock—your overall time continues to run!
Compete against other teams for the daily, weekly, or all-time Top 3 spots! Each successful challenge earns you between 25 and 100 points. Giant screens in the reception and gaming areas display live leaderboards so you can track your ranking in real time.
How many people can play?
Prison Island Montréal can accommodate up to 28 teams of 2–5 people simultaneously. For the best experience, we recommend teams of 3–5. While you can play as a duo, some challenges will be significantly harder, and you may not be able to achieve the maximum score in certain cells.
Where is the experience located?
The experience is located on the second floor of 1231 Ste-Catherine Street West, Montréal, Canada.
Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?
This experience is held indoors in a venue equipped with air conditioning.
How long does the experience last?
You have 90 minutes to do as many cells as you can and improve your best scores.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?
You will be able to purchase snacks and beverages at this event. There will not be vegan or gluten free options available.
Is there parking available?
A lot of paid parking lots are available around the venue. It is also possible to park on the street. Since the venue is very centrally located, we would recommend using public transportation, with Metro (Peel, Lucien-L’allier) and Bus (line 24) stations.
Is there a dress code?
Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for light physical activity (e.g., sneakers, pants, and a T-shirt). Heels are not allowed. During the winter, to keep all rooms clean for everyone, snow boots aren’t permitted (lockers will be provided).
Will there be merchandise for sale?
Various merchandise items (tee-shirts, hats, reusable water bottles etc.) will be available for sale.
About Tickets
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Tickets are available on-site; however, the event may be sold out by the time you arrive. We strongly recommend booking in advance to secure your spot via the Fever app (available on Google Play and the Apple Store) or the Fever website.
Can I transfer my tickets to someone else?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. Simply tap "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket within the Fever app. If you need assistance, please contact us and include your ticket ID number.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No, your tickets will be validated contact-free directly through the Fever app.
I can't find my ticket. What should I do?
You can find your ticket and QR code in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app. Ensure you are logged into the same account used for the purchase. If you still can't find it, please contact us for help.
Can I change my date or get a refund?
You can reschedule your visit up to 48 hours before your scheduled time. To do so, contact us with your ticket ID or check the "Tickets" section in the Fever app for a "Change date/time" button. Refunds are not permitted, except as required by law. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more details.
Can I make a group booking?
If you are looking to book for a large group (more than 20 people), please visit our dedicated groups page.
Event Access & Accessibility
Do I need to arrive exactly at the time on my ticket?
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time to allow for the safety briefing. Late arrivals may not be permitted to enter.
Can I bring my pet? Are service dogs allowed?
Due to safety reasons and the physical nature of the game, this event is not suitable for pets or service dogs. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to make our future experiences more inclusive.
Is the venue accessible?
The premises are accessible by elevator, corridors meet required width standards, and adapted restrooms are available. Some units are also accessible to people with reduced mobility.
What is prohibited? Can I smoke or vape?
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited. We provide lockers on-site for your belongings; however, we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items.
Are tickets available for caregivers?
If you require assistance, we offer a free pass for caregivers. Please contact us with proof of your requirement, and we will provide a code to claim a caregiver ticket in the Fever app (subject to availability). You must present both your standard ticket and the caregiver ticket at the entrance.
Is the experience accessible for the deaf or visually impaired?
The activity is accessible to deaf individuals (except for two cells); however, it is not recommended for individuals with visual impairments.
Can I play if I am pregnant?
The game is played in teams, this allows you to follow your teammates at your own pace through the experience. There are physical and less physical challenges available. You can choose which ones you play. Please speak to the staff on arrival to discuss any specific requirements so that they can assist. If in doubt, please consult your doctor before attending.
Are there strobe lights?
No, this event does not use strobe lighting.
Is there seating available?
The experience involves walking, but there are seating areas available throughout the venue to rest.
Will restrooms be available on-site?
Yes, restrooms will be available on site. Please ask our on-site staff for directions.
Can I take photos or videos?
Yes, you’re welcome to take photos and short videos with your mobile phone, as long as it doesn’t disrupt the experience or other guests. We kindly ask that professional equipment not be used unless previously approved. Please note that we are not responsible for any damage to your personal mobile phone or equipment.
Is there a Lost and Found?
Please ask staff on-site immediately. If you have already left, please email us.
Is coat check available?
Lockers are available to store jackets, phones and personal belongings.
What is the minimum age?
The minimum age to play is 7 years old. Children under 7 are not permitted in the play area.
The minimum age to play without an adult in the team is 14 years old.
Is there an audio guide?
No, an audio guide is not provided for this experience.
